



No, we haven't been slacking on the Range Rover Evoque awards coverage. What we've been doing is waiting a few days so we could batch up the continuous barrage of awards being fired at the 2012 Evoque. With that in mind, we're looking at two more awards: the AOL Auto's "Editor's Choice" SUV of the year award and Decisive Magazine's Urban Truck of the Year.
Polk, an automotive industry data and marketing services provider, has named the 2011 Range Rover its Luxury SUV category winner in the 2011 Polk Automotive Loyalty Awards. This is the fourth consecutive year the Range Rover has been named the top vehicle in the Luxury SUV category and the seventh overall win for the model.
Today at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, Land Rover was presented with yet another award for the 2012 Range Rover Evoque. The Evoque scored top honors as the North American Truck of the Year ahead of the BMW X3 and the Honda CR-V. Incidentally, last month we compared the Range Rover Evoque Pure and the BMW X3 xDrive28i.
Land Rover North America has released new national incentives for the first quarter of 2012. All previous incentives expired January 2nd, 2012, and the new round of incentives expire on April 2nd, 2012. While all national 2011 leasing and purchasing incentives have been removed from the official Land Rover website, speak with a Land Rover retailer about regional offers.
A couple of weeks ago we posted a small gallery of images featuring the manufacturing facility at Halewood hard at work producing the 2012 Range Rover Evoque. Over the past couple of days, Land Rover has released a larger selection of images that reveal additional body-in-white photos, the paint shop, and trim & final assembly.
