



The New Age of Discovery is what Land Rover is calling a model expansion of the Discovery (LR4) line. Land Rover hopes to build out the Discovery much in the same way it has the Range Rover. The teaser video released by JLR reveals absolutely nothing.

The 2012 Range Rover Evoque has been honored with the 2012 MacRobert Award and also took home a 2012 Auto Express Award. Not to be outdone, the Land Rover Discovery 4 (LR4) also was a top contender in this year's Auto Express Award series.
One year ago the 2011 Land Rover Discovery 4 (LR4) took the top spot in the 1,900kg (4,188 lbs.) category of the 2011 Towcar Awards. Flash forward to June of 2012 and you'll experience a mild case of déjà vu. The Discovery 4 recently won the 1,900kg class for the third year in a row.
China is well on its way to becoming Land Rover's largest market, so it was with due respect that the company made a big showing at the 2012 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition. The exhibition is also known as the Beijing Motor Show and Auto China, but regardless of what you want to call it, the show's international influence is undeniable.
