Jaguar Land Rover North American has reported May 2012 sales. During the month, Land Rover retailers managed to find homes for 3,438 new vehicles. This represents a 19 percent increase over May of 2011 when Land Rover sold 2,891 vehicles. The slow news cycle we're in obviously did not reflect the bustle of activity on North America's showrooms.
Land Rover has published a coffee table book detailing the Journey of Discovery expedition that saw the 1,000,000th Discovery make its way over 11,000 miles from Birmingham to Beijing. The book numbers 132 pages and is very well presented. Inside you can find great photos, statistics, background info on the team, and much more.

Five new body colors, a new alloy wheel design, two new interior color options, and a carbon veneer package make up the bulk of the changes.

Also on display are Overfinch's Apollo line of five-spoke alloy wheels, which are available in four finishes.

The UK-based publication awarded the Evoque its top honor based on how "stunning to look at and [how] stunning to drive" the car is. The magazine went on to say the Evoque is "instantly a classic."
