First Range Rover Evoque Delivered in the UK
We're still a few weeks away from October when retail deliveries begin here in the U.S., but the first 2012 Range Rover Evoque has been delivered in the UK. The lucky recipient was Land Rover ambassador Zara Phillips. Phillips' new Evoque is a Stornoway Grey (not unlike Orkney Grey) five-door with a 2.2-liter diesel engine and six-speed automatic transmission.
September 2011 Land Rover Rebates & Incentives
Land Rover is currently offering a variety of financing incentives for the month of September on all models with the exception of the 2012 Range Rover Evoque. Incentives are available for new vehicle purchases, certified pre-owned (CPO) vehicle purchases, and new vehicle leases. The current set of incentives expire on 9/30/2011.
Updating Your Land Rover’s DVD Navigation System
Land Rover has made extensive use of DVD-based navigation systems. The downside to these systems is that they quickly become out-of-date. A majority of the information contained on your vehicle's original DVD is certainly still valid, but roads, subdivisions, addresses, and routes are created and changed all the time. Figuring out where to get an updated DVD for your nav can be confusing.
Land Rover Voted Favorite 4×4 in MSN UK Cars Poll
Last month, MSN UK Cars conducted a poll that asked 39,663 readers to vote for their favorite 4x4 vehicle. The actual question asked was, "Which firm makes the best '4x4' type cars?" Respondents were given a list of 12 manufacturers, including Land Rover, Toyota, Audi, BMW, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Jeep, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, Volkswagen, and Volvo. Out of the 12, Land Rover came in on top.
2011 Range Rover Sport: Trims, Specifications, Features
The 2011 Range Rover Sport bridges the gap between the Land Rover LR4 and the Range Rover line. Despite its name and appearance, the Range Rover Sport has more in common with the LR4 than it does with the 2011 Range Rover. The Range Rover Sport will become the mid-line Range Rover when the Evoque is introduced in October.
