Much to the delight of Defender-lovers everywhere, Land Rover recently announced that the long-wheelbase Defenders — the 110 and 130 — would live on for at least a few years past the DC100's introduction in 2015. Now, it has also been revealed that Land Rover intends to show a revised or reworked version of the DC100 concept at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show. The show will be held between November 18th and the 27th.

Back in early August, we said that Merriam-Webster will have to add a new definition to the dictionary – Evoque(\i-ˈvōk\) a: to collect awards at an alarming pace. As it turns out, we were not too far off from the truth. Thursday, we touched on awards bestowed upon the Evoque by Motor Trend and Decisive Magazine. Today, there is yet another accolade to be added to the Evoque's trophy shelf.
The 2011 Land Rover LR2 is the company's introductory offering. The LR2 received a facelift for the 2011 model year to make it fall more in line with the look of the Land Rover LR4. The 2011 LR2 also enjoys a redesigned instrument cluster, additional exterior colors, new alloy wheels, and a new range of seat styles.
As expected, the 2012 Range Rover Evoque is collecting accolades at a fast pace — 22 international awards this year according to Land Rover. Just this week, the Range Rover Evoque added two more awards to its roster. The first is the prestigious 2012 SUV of the Year Awards as administered by Motor Trend. The second award comes in the form of the Urban Vehicle (Truck) of the Year award as given by Decisive Magazine.
