So, here we go again with the awards. Today, the all-new 2012 Range Rove Evoque was announced as an AUTOMOBILE Magazine 2012 All-Star. The All-Star awards recognize 10 vehicles for "greatness wherever it might be," without concern for body style, price, target audience, etc. Any car on sale in the U.S. in the current model year is eligible. But, before you write it off as an "Everybody Gets an Award" award, it's not.
Another day, another custom Range Rover Evoque. Wait, we might have used that introductory line on yesterday's post about the Evoque winning yet another award. Anyway, Startech has released photos of a new styling package for the 2012 Range Rover Evoque. The Startech package will officially debut at the Dubai Motor Show, which begins later this week.
Another day, another award for the Range Rover Evoque. Late last week Stuff Magazine honored the 2012 Range Rover Evoque as its 2011 Car of the Year. In total, the Range Rover Evoque has gathered up 23 international awards so far and the 2011/2012 awards season is far from over. Not bad at all for a vehicle that has been on the market only a few short weeks.
The 2011 SEMA Show has wrapped up and Land Rover has walked away with two more accolades. Since the past couple of weeks have been dominated by the Evoque, it was good to see the LR2 and the Range Rover get some recognition late in the year. Yes, you read that right; the nearly forgotten Land Rover LR2 received the "Best Premium Compact SUV" award. The Range Rover received the "Best Premium Large SUV" award.
As we're sure you are aware, Land Rover offers a range of expedition-style adventures that vary from one-day events at Land Rover Experience centers to complete adventure holidays. The most elaborate of the vacation packages are the Land Rover Expeditions that explore destinations around the globe. According to Land Rover, these are "luxurious driving experiences [that] enable guests to indulge in the stunning scenery, landscapes, and culture in the finest style."
