Land Rover North America has issued a recall notice for certain 1995 -2004 Discovery, Discovery II, and Range Rover Classic vehicles. The recall concerns faulty driveshaft couplings installed as service parts. The couplings may cause vibration and "exhibit the onset of joint separation."
Yesterday, we talked about the 1,000,000th Land Rover Discovery and a little bit about the associated expedition. Land Rover announced that the 1,000,000th Discovery has been produced at the Jaguar Land Rover plant in Solihull. To celebrate the event, Land Rover is taking the 1,000,000th Disco and two additional vehicles on an expedition from Birmingham, UK, to Beijing, China.
