2012 Evoque Wheels & Tires

Tires and wheels are a frequent topic of discussion among Land Rover owners. Without doubt, the all-new 2012 Range Rover Evoque will surely be the subject of many forum posts asking about the best wheel and tire combinations. Below, you can see all of the factory wheels and tires currently shipping with the Range Rover Evoque, along with two optional wheels.

As is typical these days, this new Land Rover features rather large wheels. The Evoque offers 19-inch wheels as standard equipment on both Coupe and five-door models. Pure, Prestige, and Dynamic trims each have a unique standard wheel design. The Pure is fitted with six-spoke Style 4 Sparkle Finish alloys, the Prestige is fitted with 10-spoke Style 5 Diamond Turned alloys, and the Dynamic is fitted with five-spoke Style 3 Sparkle Finish alloys.

The Evoque’s Optional Wheels

Optional wheels are available for all models and trims of the Evoque. The optional wheels are 20-inch alloys that come in two styles. The first is a five-spoke Style 6 wheel with a Sparkle Finish. The second wheel is a five-spoke Style 7 alloy with a Chrome Shadow finish. To clarify, Sparkle Finish is a metallic silver while the Chrome Shadow finish has a darker satin look.

Update 10/6/2011: Land Rover has added two optional 20-inch wheels which can be purchased separately from the wheel packages mentioned below. These wheels are dealer-installed accessories available only from a Land Rover retailer.

Continental and Michelin OEM Tires

Standard tires will depend on the wheel size you select. The standard 19-inch wheels feature Continental CrossContact (All-Season, M+S) 235/55R19 tires. These tires have a 2039 pound load rating (105) and are V speed rated (149 mph). The estimated street price on the Continental tires is approximately $240.00 to $260.00. The optional 20-inch wheels feature Michelin Latitude Sport (Summer) 245/45R20 tires. These tires have a 1709 pound load rating (99) and are also V speed rated. The estimated street price on the Michelin tires is approximately $340.00 to $360.00.

Aftermarket Wheels & Tires

We expect the Evoque to enjoy a robust aftermarket support network, especially for appearance accessories. Aftermarket wheels will be readily accessible in all sizes. As far as tires, there are already numerous options on the market that will fit both OEM wheel sizes. The standard 235/55R19 tires range in price from $180.00 for Hankook Optimo tires to about $280.00 for the Michelin Pilot HX rubber. Specialty tires such as studless ice and snow tires are available for less than $180.00. In the 245/45R20 size, tires range from the Hankook Ventus V12 at $160.00 each to the Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires that come in at approximately $320.00.
