Defender Passport Wallpaper

The official Land Rover Blog has released the first in a series of desktop wallpapers. The wallpapers will feature advertising images from campaigns that have run over the past few years. The first of the series highlights the “Defender Passport” marketing images. The desktop wallpapers are available in four sizes and can be downloaded from the Land Rover Blog:

The “Defender Passport” advertising campaign was developed by UK-based advertising agency RKCR/Y&R. The print campaign shows an open passport with a collage of passport stamps that make up a profile view of a short wheelbase Defender. The ad suggests — without body copy — that the Defender is ready for service anywhere in the world (well, almost anywhere). Given that the current Defender is not for sale in North America, the ads did not run for U.S. audiences. Therefore, some of these images may be new for some of our U.S.-based Defender enthusiasts.
