Land Rover has recently updated and improved its certified pre-owned used vehicle program. The new Land Rover Select Certified Pre-Owned Program, as it is called, increases the warranty coverage from five-years, 62,000-miles to six-years, 100,000-miles. Land Rover Select Certified Pre-Owned Warranty

Under the new CPO program, all Select Certified Pre-Owned Land Rover vehicles will be covered for six years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. This is a significant improvement over the old CPO warranty, which was limited to five years or 62,000 miles.

Coverage begins on the vehicle’s original in-service date and zero miles. Here’s how this warranty coverage breaks down. If you purchased a certified pre-owned 2009 LR3 today that was put into service (purchased new) on 7/10/2009 and has 37,000 miles on the odometer, it will be under warranty for 63,000 additional miles or until 7/10/2013, whichever comes first.

The new program went into effect on October 1st, 2011.

Roadside Assistance Service

While your CPO Land Rover is under warranty it is also covered by a 24/7 roadside assistance service program. Roadside assistance offers help when you have a flat tire, run out of gas, get locked out of your Land Rover, or have a dead battery. This coverage also offers towing, a retailer locator service, trip interruption expense reimbursements, and trip routing service. Contact Land Rover’s Roadside Assistance service 24 hours a day, toll-free, at 1-800-637-6837.

Additional Benefits to CPO Ownership

In addition to the warranty coverage and roadside assistance, there are several other benefits to purchasing a certified pre-owned Land Rover. These perks include:

  • Discounts at Land Rover Experience Driving Schools
  • Complimentary Subscription to OneLife Magazine
  • Access to Land Rover Adventures
  • Invitations to Retailer Events
