A. Kahn Design has revealed two more bespoke Range Rover Sports. The first is called ‘The Red Ranger’ and is exactly as its name describes: an all-red Range Rover Sport. The second is the Capital City edition, which makes use of a wide body stripe to give the Range Rover Sport an even sportier flair.
A. Kahn Design’s timing on The Red Ranger lines up pretty well with the introduction of Land Rover’s own all-red 2013 Range Rover Sport HSE Limited Edition. While the official Land Rover edition remains typically understated, A. Kahn’s Design’s take on the all-red Range Rover Sport is quite more aggressive. The Red Ranger features a widebody kit with extended front and rear spoilers, front wheel arch LED lighting (perhaps our favorite feature on this particular custom), RS grill insert, painted brake calipers, ‘autobiography’ quad oval exhaust tips, RS Vesuvius leather interior with carbon trim, illuminated sill plates, and more.
Having spent many years kicking around the classic car world we’re suckers for broad hood stripes.
The second Range Rover Sport from A. Kahn Design is the Capital City edition, which accentuates the “sport” in “Range Rover Sport” thanks to a wide body stripe. Having spent many years kicking around the classic car world we’re suckers for broad hood stripes, so we’re willing to overlook our favorite pet peeve: removal of the “RANGE ROVER” hood lettering. If the satin red stripe over the brilliant white body isn’t your style, A. Kahn Design allows customers to choose color combinations both inside and out. Stylistically, the Capital City edition Range Rover Sport makes use of a widebody appearance kit along with many small touches throughout. These touches include a rear ‘autobiography’ lip in the same satin red as the stripe, side steps, RS Kahn grill, illuminated side sill plates, matte pearl side vents, RS leather interior, and more.

Read StoryUnlike the upcoming 2013 Range Rover, the 2013 Range Rover Sport is a nearly direct carryover from the 2012 model and receives only a handful of cosmetic options to the exterior and interior. Five new body colors, a new alloy wheel design, two new interior color options, and a carbon veneer package make up the bulk of the changes.
