Available on the Evoque in the UK is Park Assist, a semi-autonomous feature that helps park the vehicle by sensing obstacles and controlling the steering while the driver maintains control of acceleration. The system allows you to quickly and easily sneak into parallel parking spots that are just 1.2 times longer than the vehicle itself. Note that U.S. versions of the Evoque have a Parking Aid feature, rather than Park Assist. The Parking Aid provides audible warnings when the vehicle is approaching an obstacle.

The Range Rover Evoque also has available Land Rover’s Vision Assist system that includes visual aids that sense vehicles in the blind spot, assists with hitching and towing trailers, and features a Surround Camera System that allows a nearly 360-degree view around the vehicle with selectable cameras.

Evoque Takes Top Spot in 2012 Diesel Car Awards

The latest award bestowed upon the Evoque comes in the form of Diesel Car Magazine's 2012 Car of the Year. The UK-based publication awarded the Evoque its top honor based on how "stunning to look at and [how] stunning to drive" the car is. The magazine went on to say the Evoque is "instantly a classic."
